Four generations of master perfumers, one uncompromising pursuit of beauty.
In 1924, in the sun-drenched hills of Grasse, a young perfumer named Élise Lumière opened her first atelier. With nothing but her grandmother's recipes and an uncompromising vision, she began composing fragrances that would define a century.
Today, nearly a hundred years later, Maison Lumière remains family-owned. Each bottle is composed with ingredients sourced from the same fields her grandmother once knew — Bulgarian rose, Tunisian neroli, Indian oud — blended in the same modest atelier where it all began.
We do not chase trends. We distill time.
Over 85% of our compositions are derived from natural essences. We source the rarest materials directly from growers we have partnered with for decades.
Each fragrance matures for a minimum of six weeks before bottling. Time is our secret ingredient.
Four generations of the Lumière family have guided our atelier. Every bottle carries our name and our word.
Our atelier in Grasse remains purposefully small — a choice, not a limitation. Here, our master perfumers work alongside apprentices, passing down knowledge that cannot be written in books.
